The UAE visit visa is one of the more predictable applications on a Pakistani passport, provided the file is clean and consistent.
The core file
Assume everything must match everything else.
- Passport valid at least six months with clear scans of every used page
- Recent photograph on a white background to the stated dimensions
- Confirmed return ticket and hotel booking
- Bank statement covering the last six months, stamped
- Employment letter or business registration
- For families, the family registration certificate and children's documents
What holds files up
Name spellings that differ between the passport and the ticket. A statement with one large unexplained deposit. Photographs that fail the dimension check. A hotel booking for dates that do not match the ticket.
None of these are difficult to avoid, and all of them cost a week when they happen.
How long it takes
Processing is normally counted in working days rather than weeks, but plan for a fortnight from submission to travel. Applying three days before departure is how a good case becomes a stressful one.
